Creative use of mouse over images, flash introduction and
cascading style sheets combine to make an interactive website
that is easy to navigate and stylishly simple.
The client has the ability to administer the guestbook entries,
update Hotel Rates and Special Offers, update the Links page
and add dates to the Events Calender. |
 |
Cascading style sheets (CSS), <DIV> tags, Absolute
positioning and Javascript are used heavily on this website
to re-generate the 8 'pages' of information based on the visitors
mouse click. This method significantly reducing the download
time and maximised the visitors experience. Note: this website
has been removed from the web. |
 |
Simple intuative navigation provides the visitor with access
to the property pages, contact form and the map of Samos Island.
Cascading style sheets (CSS) are used for the menu system, 'form
text area' is used to display the scrolling text, while javascript
is implimented to allow the thumbnail images to be viewed full-size
without the whole webpage reloading. |
 |
Fun and light hearted, this website uses Cascading style
sheets (CSS) Absolute positioning and re-sizing of images to
achieve a graphic interface while minimising download time
(only one bubble image is downloaded and used 16 times on the
page layout). PHP code is used to generate the guestbook, cocktail
list and links page, allowing the client full control of the
content via their own password protected admin panel. |
 |
The design of this website reflects the charm and natural
beauty of Grammatikis House and its location. Once again CSS
is used heavily on the this site for the menu system and for
the display of larger images from clicking the thumbnails. The
larger images are displayed on the same page as the thumbnails
versus loading them on a seperate page. This leady to a faster
download time which keeps the user happy ;) |

Simple and stylish design with complex use of CSS and PHP
code is combined seamlessly to create a website that is very
easy to navigate. |
 |
Continuing the use of CSS to dynamically overlap images that
was used on www.house-extensions.com, the anthousa website takes
the script to the next level by allowing the user to click on
te image to get a full size picture along with a text description.
CSS is used to generate the image based menu system, PHP is
utilised to create the rates and links page from a seperate
data file that the client can administer by entering their username
and password. |
 |
This site utilises Flash to provide a graphical navigation
system; the user simply moves their mouse over the plan and
clicks a property that they wish to view in more detail. As
always CSS has been used for the webpage layout, javascript
for pop-up windows, and PHP has been used for the links page
and the novel 'tell a friend' feature. |
